Incoming Staff

The University College of Teacher Education Upper Austria (PH OÖ) promotes exchange with international partner institutions within the Erasmus+ programme to strengthen professional dialogue, joint teaching and learning, and international networking in teacher education. PH OÖ also has a Department for School Development and an Institute for Third Mission, offering additional opportunities for active exchange within staff training (STT).

Academic and administrative staff are invited to participate in teaching assignments as well as teacher/staff training activities.

We welcome you to take part in job shadowing, classroom observations and professional exchange with colleagues, including opportunities in our affiliated practice schools. You are also invited to contribute to our course programmes for future primary, secondary and vocational school teachers through your teaching.

The International Office supports you with the organisational arrangements.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. We are happy to support you.

To ensure a well organised mobility we kindly ask you to follow the procedure outlined below:

Initial contact

Please contact the International Office in advance by email, indicating your preferred dates of stay. For teaching mobility (STA), please include the planned content of your teaching. For training mobility (STT), please outline your areas of interest (e.g. job shadowing, specific topics or institutional practices you would like to explore).

We will inform you as soon as possible whether we are able to host you.

Duration of stay

The mobility usually lasts between 2 and 5 days. For teaching mobility (STA), a minimum of 8 teaching hours within 3 days is required. For staff training (STT), the duration and programme will be agreed on individually.

Mobility Agreement

After a positive first contact, please submit a Mobility Agreement via your International Office. We will review, confirm and return it to you or the responsible person at your International Office in due time.

Programme of activities

You will receive your detailed schedule one week before your arrival at the latest. This will allow you to get in touch with relevant colleagues in advance and coordinate teaching or job shadowing activities.

Confirmation of stay

At the end of your stay, we will provide a confirmation of your mobility.
