Content: 

Students will be alerted to atmospheric and celestial phenomena that lend themselves to being observed with young learners 
Information will be provided on the development of the Austrian natural and cultural landscape, covering geological periods up to recent trends, in rural and urban settings, and on protagonists in various fields of research
There will be scope for dealing with ongoing cultural and economic issues.
Opportunity for relating to students’ countries of origin will be given.

Goals and competences to achieve: 

Increased awareness of certain geographical and cultural phenomena
Process focused understanding of geographical and cultural developments, appreciating the endeavours that are the basis of present day accepted knowledge
